At the 2022 GreenStep Awards event, Shaw Industries was the Winner of the International category for the creation of Shaw Contract’s ComfortWorx™.

Kelly Fain (Shaw Industry Executive Vice President Commercial Division) and Todd Jarvis (Shaw Industry Global Marketing Director) were pleased to accept the award at the FCWs ceremony.

Shaw Contract’s ComfortWorx™ carpet tile is a new and innovative sustainable backing solution providing sound abatement and underfoot comfort for EMEA. ComfortWorx™ backing is made of 90% post-consumer recycled PET (polyethylene Terephthalate) plastic bottles to help consume and re-use waste plastic as a useful material. ComfortWorx™ is manufactured in the carbon neutral plant in Sanguhar Scotland, and during his visit to the factory, Kelly Fain rewarded the manufacturing and innovation team in Scotland and delivered the trophy.
