Relocating to a full floor for a responsive engaging environment, the client wanted to create a space where choice equals personal effectiveness. This guiding factor unveiled the need for open collaboration, shared-private and quiet-private spaces. In the main reception, playful elements such as an oversized light fixture and a layered-felt wall create instant awareness. As a predominantly open space, quiet areas were created with furniture, drapery and ceiling elements to softly delineate the zones and allow for flexibility. Designers added sound absorption to the high ceilings with systematically patterned acoustical panel drops with LED strips that disappear against the airy white. Part of the Couture collection, warm gray Spun tile moves seamlessly throughout the space, adding subtle linearity and a metallic/wool mix. Jeogori LVT was a natural choice compliment, with the grainy woven pattern in a casual grid, it transitions into the support and communal spaces. Against a neutral palette, intense cobalt blue and lemon yellow brand the space and engage employees. Internal site lines incorporating natural light, built elements, and art placement are strongly emphasized throughout, creating interesting views from every vantage point.
