Health Product Declaration (HPD)

A Health Product Declaration (HPD) is a disclosure that allows manufacturers to transparently disclose a product’s ingredients and the chemicals of concern that could be contained within them for a more informed purchasing process. HPDs present this information in a format that is consistent, transparent and in a common language specifiers can understand from project to project.

Shaw Contract’s HPDs are available for several of our platforms, including broadloom, carpet tile and homogeneous sheet. Many of these products contribute points toward LEED v4 and the Materials and Resources (MR): Building Product Disclosure and Optimization. For product-specific green LEED contribution credits, view the complete specification available on each style page.
